Waiting for a baby birth is quite exhausting, especially for the pregnant mom like my lovely wife was. I would like to dedicate this writing for her, my patient beautiful lovely wife ever.
It was surprising when we knew that my wife was pregnant after a few weeks of our marriage. First thing we do was checked her pregnancy using “test pack”. It was quite simple to use. You just put your wife’s first urine early in the morning then take the test pack and dip into it. If you see two bars occur. After a few seconds, then your wife is positively pregnant. Congratulation ^^. Then to ensure it, we went to “Klinik Rambutan” at Depok. First time we see the embryo using USG was amazing, it is ALIVE…!
Our first three months in her pregnancy was fully struggling events. I work everyday except on Saturday and Sunday. So I could not accompany her while I work. She always threw up her food every time she ate. I do not know why, was it because of her food or it just a chemical reaction in her stomach that make her did that. I was worried with her condition of health, because no food could be eaten. Then I decided to take her to my mother’s house in Bandung so she can be accompanied everyday and hopefully she would eat well. Thanks God, she slowly recovered.
Entering the fifth month, we decided to go back to our rented house at Pesona Depok because we must prepare to move into new rented house early October. We moved to a small house at Kebon Pala near my uncle’s house. The neighborhood is very friendly; I think we can live here for a while.
The last is ninth month. My wife’s stomach is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She said now it is hard to walk because the baby is heavier. Not mentioned about the way of sleep. She can not sleep well in the night because she must wake up and urinate around three to four times a night. Doctor said it normally happen because the head of the baby is pressing mother’s urinal.
Finally, on 15 February 2006, after having a lunch with my mother in law, she felt it’s about the time. Some blood flake came out just like when a woman had a menstruation. Fortunately, she did not panic and called my uncle, which his office is closer than me, and asks him to accompany her to hospital. My uncle took my wife to RS. Harum at Kalimalang which is a reference hospital from my wife’s doctor. It’s already opening stage 2 (2 cm).
I was received sms from my wife when she was on the way to hospital. I went to hospital after ask permission to my boss. Thanks God, the traffic seems friendly that day. I arrived to the hospital just a few minutes after my wife arrived. The opening keeps at stage 2 till midnight. After that, the contraction happened frequently…5 minutes a time…then faster.
It took a whole night till my wife’s contraction went to opening stage 10 (10 cm). I accompany her to give her spirit along the process. With her last strength, she pushed the baby out safely. On
16 February 2006, at 05.30 am, a beautiful voice of crying came out from our 3.45 kg and 51 cm baby. The baby is a girl, beautiful cute lil girl. We named her
NAMIRA DHIYAULHAQ MAULANA.
It is not easy to go thru all this things by ourselves. For my lovely wife, thanks for your patient, love and strength.

It took me an hour to assemble whole parts of the trolley. Quite exciting, coz it's my first baby trolley, but finally I can make it hehehe...even I sweat my self ^^;
