Napak Tilas

Last week, Me, My wife & our lil' Namira went to Lhokseumawe.
Meutia, my niece also join our trip. It was quite exhausted but a lot of fun.

After two hours flight we arrived in Polonia airport at Medan.
Abah and bang eri already already wait at the airport and we went to kak Eli's house by car.

We met with Chihiro (Kak Eli's daughter) for the first time. Waaa, she's so cute and soooo japanese hehehe... Her slant-eyes is like her father and she got her mother's smile.

We stayed for three days in Medan. Wednesday morning we went to Lhokseumawe by "PELANGI" bus from Jl. Gajah Mada. It took 6 hours to reach Lhokseumawe... What an exhausting trip. Alhamdulillah, Namira is not to hard to please, even the trip was took a long time.

Well, what more can I say, people in Lhokseumawe now is trying to develop their town. I saw a new SPBU (Gas Station) not to far from Batuphat and also some buildings ( I don't know perhaps for offices or schools) along the road to Lhokseumawe. The traffic in the afternoon was crowded. People gathered in Kedai, or just taking a walk after office hour. I guess the town is back to normal.

I met Rizal and Khaidir with their kids in Kedai Sate Matang at simpang Empat - Krueng Geukeuh. They told me about their work right now which are quite difficult after PIM2 project over. They still stuck and can not find the right job for them. I hope they will find it soon.

Oya, We also visit Lastri, my wife's friend. Her mother just passed away a few weeks ago. We convey our condolences and deepest sympathy to Lastri and family.

After 4 days in Lhokseumawe, Me, my father in law and my niece back to Medan by bus. My wife and Namira want to stay longer in Lhokseumawe. They will be back to Jakarta next month.

While we in the middle of our way to Medan, before Kuala Simpang, the bus hit a motorbike. The bus driver then interrogated by the policeman about that accident. It made us stuck for more than 3 hours in Kuala Simpang terminal. ^^; We arrived in Medan at 09.00 pm.
