The work of art

Intro: ev'body has sense of art...

Reading and reply emails come in to my inbox is being my regular activity in the morning, specially monday. It took 1-2 hours depend on the number of email. This morning I read an interesting email from Migas mailing list.

It's about a comic script written by Syam Asinar Radjam. But how come a comic script is become a topic in Migas mailing list? That's also my question when I read the email. Finally I found that the topic of the comic script is about Liquified Natural Gas (Gas Alam Cair). That's why this script is 'hanging around' in this mailing list. Unfortunatelly, I do not know the previous thread before because I just join the mailing list last week. But the point is the writter wrote a script for kids, 3-4 grade of student. It needs a different approach to deliver this topic for kids.

Once again my brain was inspired by the script. It's a work of art to create such a script. Salute for Syam Asinar Radjam.

I hope the comic will be well printed and of course, in achievable price :).
Sukses selalu.

Nelli's Journey 2

"Kampung China"
I have a chance to visit kampung china at Kota Wisata - Cibubur with my family. It's really interesting place to see. Red colour is very dominant. Many stores that sell chinese souvenirs and of course the architecture and decorations are also in chinese style. If you are lucky, you can see one of the most famous art attraction of chinese called "Barongsai". It was like you watch the dragon dancing following the "noisy" music ^^; very interesting.

"TVRI Stasiun Bandung"

Sunday morning walking around at TVRI Stasiun Bandung is become one the most people of Cibaduyut do. When I went to my husband's home land in Bandung, we went to TVRI just to see the activities there. It was very crowded with some "PKL" and people who exercise or just walking around to enjoy sunday morning. Many kind of foods were

"Pasir Panjang - Peureulak"

My spouse took a pic of mine at my grandfather village in Pasir Panjang - Peureulak. As you see in the background there were a lot of "lembu" (cows). It's been a while since NKRI and GAM were trying to make a peace agreement. Me & my family were able to go to Pasir Panjang becoz the security condition were getting better. Actually, NKRI and GAM are agree to stop the war and living in peace right now. Thanks God, finally the war is over.

"Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman - Banda Aceh"

After Tsunami disaster attack Banda Aceh, the biggest mosque in Banda Aceh, Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman, slowly recovered. Some renovations and repaint were done one by one. This mosque being a symbol how mighty the God is. Allahu Akbar.

Nelli's Journey

"Ci-Walk"
Cihampelas Walk is located at Jalan Cihampelas in Bandung.
It's quite an interesting place to visit. A new concept of creating a nice place for shopping.
Nice landscape make us enjoy walking around the stores.

"Jajan yuk"

Gedung Sate is a governor office building located at Jl. Diponegoro Bandung. In front of Gedung Sate, there is a gazebo which is not just a field that used for ceremony or important events of local governement but also for sport. Every Sunday morning, there are a lot of people come to Gazebo for exercises such as soccer, jogging, volleyball etc. But the most interesting thing is that many PKL (pedagang kaki lima) are available and it's only happen on Sunday morning. You can looking for clothes, jackets, pants, t-shirts, traditional foods, gorengan, dolls, sandals, baloons, watches, CDs, cassettes, cute souvenirs, frames, belts, plants, pets, hats, and many more...^^; Can you imagine how crowded gazebo each sunday morning? Hehehe...but it's still number one choice for Bandung's people to spend the weekend.

"Lhok-Nga"

After Tsunami disaster, one huge barge ship and the smaller ship were thrown up to the high way. Can you imagine? it was incredible the power of water that can lift up these two ships. The God's mighty. When we visit Lhok-Nga, it was drizzle. So, one cute blue umbrella also involve in this journey ^^;

"ITB"

I had a chance to visit my husband's campus of ITB in Bandung one time. Using blue vespa scotter, me and my husband go around the campus. It's quite cozy and chilly place to visit. Perhaps because it was sunday morning ^^; This pic was taken in front of Labtek V, Fakultas Teknologi Industri. Taken using my husband's camera phone.

"Oleh-oleh"

This place called Sare, I am not sure but I think it's near Sigli. Again, this pic was taken on the way back from Banda Aceh with my family. One tips from me: if you travel in a such long journey, don't forget to take some snacks and drinks. So you won't get any hunger and thirsty :P

to be continued :)

Pics from Tsunami ruins.

Actually it's not up to date anymore since it's taken on May last year.
It just because I have no time to upload this pics before but I think it's still interesting pics to see.

It was terrible disaster that happened in Aceh on Dec 26, 2004. Tsunami really smashed the land and villages into pieces. Peoples ones again reminded that nothing to be conceited against nature's anger, God's mighty.

- Upside Down -

- On the Road -

One huge Barge ship contain coals and one smaller ship were lifted up by tsunami and it's not removed yet until May 2005, when I visit it. It will take big effort to move those ships from the road.

- Pasar Atjeh -

It is located near Mesjid raya Baiturrahman, a traditional market that slowly recovered.

- PT Semen Andalas -

It's one of the cement factory that affected by tsunami disaster. When I came to the location, it was not operated a.k.a malfunction. People said, some operators were died inside when tsunami attacked.

It is horrible what happened in the land of Rencong. While for so many years, people of Aceh must struggle facing the WAR between NKRI and GAM. Living under DOM is not easy. Fear and suspicious always freakin' yourself out when you walk down the road. And finished by Tsunami disaster...Oh God, please... It's enough. We get your point.

Please give them peace and love to live their lives.

The Remedy - Jason Mraz

Well I saw fireworks from the freeway
And behind closed eyes I cannot make them go away
'Cause you were born on the fourth of july, freedom ring
Now something on the surface it stings
I said something on the surface
Well it kind of makes me nervous
Who says that you deserve this
And what kind of god would serve this?
We will cure this dirty old disease
Well If you've got the poison I've got the remedy

The remedy is the experience.
This is a dangerous liaison
I say the comedy is that it's serious.
This is a strange enough new play on words
I say the tragedy is how you're gonna spend
The rest of your nights with the light on
So shine the light on all of your friends
When it all amounts to nothing in the end.

I won't worry my life away.
I won't worry my life away.

Well I heard two men talking on the radio
In a cross fire kind in a reality show
Uncovering the ways to plan the next big attack
Where they were counting down the ways to stab
The brother in the be right back after this
The unavoidable kiss, where the minty fresh
Death breath is sure to outlast this catastrophy
Dance with me, because if you've got the poison,
I've got the remedy

The remedy is the experience.
This is a dangerous liaison
I say the comedy is that it's serious.
This is a strange enough new play on words
I say the tragedy is how you're gonna spend
The rest of your nights with the light on
So shine the light on all of your friends
When it all amounts to nothing in the end.

I won't worry my life away.
I won't worry my life away.

When I fall in love I take my time
There's no need to hurry when I'm making up my mind
You can turn off the sun but I'm still gonna shine and I'll tell you why
Because

The remedy is the experience.
This is a dangerous liaison
I say the comedy is that it's serious.
This is a strange enough new play on words
I say the tragedy is how you're gonna spend
The rest of your nights with the light on
So shine the light on all of your friends
When it all amounts to nothing in the end.

I won't worry my life away.
I won't worry my life away.
I won't and I won't and I won't

p.s: when cloudy skies and cold wind blews up my mind into a place called boreness ^^;
